....when they were a covers band in early 1976 called 'Stripey', then they saw The Pistols at Quaintways in Chester and became 'The Toilets', then they were a 'mod' band in 1979 called 'Seventeen', then became 'Alarm Alarm' before mutating into 'The Alarm'........
