Sounds cool! I have a similarily mysterious CD comp of "biker funk" that might be a bootleg, because of no track listing. Acid-rock/funk in the Funkadelic style. I think one of the bands featured is called Iron Knowedge or something, looking at the booklet...

Just dug out my copy of Sixties Archives Vol 6 - Texan & Michigan Psychedelia. Highlights include; Mechanical Switch - Spongeman Sartori - Thousand Micrograms of Love Glass Sun - Silence In The Morning (if you want to a psych version of 80s Goth) Iguanas - I can only give you everything (more breathy psych vocal than the MC5 rock version). Love - It's The Marlon Baby (very early Love) The Sons of Barbie Doll - Psychedelic Seat.

Yep! "Showstopper"... The best thing on the CD! Glad someone else has heard of it. It was Otto at the Bop Shop that turned me on to it. (Thanks Otto!)

Seems out of print . . . and on a different label too. Reckless Records? You mean the store in Chicago?

When I saw 'em they were headlining (both times.) Who could follow a ten-minute pumpin' version of "96 Tears"? Opening for Psychic TV seems just wrooong!
