feels like the end of times to me you know.

i didn't think that the party i've voted for all my life would become as flacid and useless as this. Hearing brown years ago on the morning show on R4 i thought to myself ' 'old on, this fella has got some serious plans...' i thought that when the baton was passed on he'd carry it and maybe kick some shape back into things. got that one wrong.

it amazes me that Labour's done so much self harm that they're probably more unpopular than the bloody tories were back at the end of their reign.

i actually didn't think ANY party could become as unpopular as that again in British Politics ever... got that one wrong too !

i wouldn't go down the bookies with me moony, not unless you're wearing a vest under your shirt !

That should be an easy question to answer. The second part is anyway.

No. I'm not arguing because I'm a control freak.

Why am I spending time arguing the toss with a bunch of people who have no interest in listening, or in changing their beliefs? Fucked if I know myself sometimes. It does get depressing when confronted with cynicism and apathy all the time, but I think the alternative to trying is to not try. To me that's worse. Does that make sense?

Edit: I will try to answer you more fully tomorrow evening. For now I'm off to bed. Up at half six tomorrow for my wife's graduation ceremony. A proud day for us :)

Aye, but I have to be true to myself. I'm not stressed about it, but fighting for what I believe in is part of who I am.
