Do some reading on the Shirley McKie fingerprint case in Scotland. That should remove any doubt in your mind as to what these agencies, including the police are capable of.

Additionally, read up on where the police have used ANTI-TERRORIST legislation to prevent such things as that old guy speaking up at the Labour party conference and the girl who was reading out Iraqi war dead names at the Cenotaph. Disgusting.

There are good coppers and there are bad coppers. The bad ones ruin the whole bloody thing, and are for the most part unaccountable to anyone.
