someone has prolly said this but...
Ya wont normally notice waspies til the late summer.

As for Bees - seems normal around here.


The disease that is wiping out colonies (varroa?) seems to be mainly affecting managed stock rather than wild bees (at the moment).


Hornets - not had any drop down the chimuk this year - normally get one or two.

And the local wood-wasp (scary lookin but harmless) population seems normal.
