Yep I agree with you there. The idea that all this was 'planned' is a pointless conspiracy argument to follow frankly. Of course it was, do some history, the IDF have been pretty much at full readyness/alert for the last 40 odd years tbh and troop concentrations have always been at the borders, unsurprisingly. Another pointless argument to follow is the 'ooh.. religion bad' one, its not about theology, it's about power/control and all the usual political ones, theology is always a smoke screen.

Edit : The likes of Bush et al are not as motivated by their religion as they'd like their followers to believe frankly. You really have to ignore that and deal with the politics and economics.
