The Lackanagoneeny row was harder to make out out from the GE resolution but it also looked about 193 degrees which is interesting but I'm less sure about that , if anything it might be closer to due south . The horizon for due south is the western edge of the Galty mountains about 30 km away but I'm sure they would provide the horizon .



Thanks Tiompan - they both look to be very far south alright. Looks like my best bet is the first one I showed ya for the sunset and hope for the best.


If you do visit Bawn it would be good to get a compass reading and pic along the alignment . Thanks .
