Looks ace doesn't it? Reading around a bit on the internet, other than vague references to the tradition dating 'back into prehistory', the 'sensible' theory seems to be that it represents the defeat of the saracens by the native sardinians, but there seem to be other references to it being an agricultural feritilty thang etc...
The other guys, the Issohadores, don't look anywhere near as cool...
