So EH's sole spokesperson is anonymous and pissed and won't be specific eh?
Sorry we're so touchy and one sided.

See what you mean, it's only a matter of (very little) time.
I expect our Mr Hob is on his way there as we speak... ;)

Actually, you are –
I'm not pissed as I don't drink, I'm not anonymous (read the name) and I'm happy to be specific – the information I used for Silbury came straight from the Chief Executive, plus a couple of moles who, I'd bet my pension, are higher up in the organisation than you. I doubt if you've got within a sniff of the reams of stuff I've been sent. In fact, I bet you know next to nothing. You have the psychological profile. You may even be Kester the Jester for all anyone knows. Happy Easter, natter on, that's the end.

I have no idea why you think I'm anything to do with EH, if that info is as good as your sources that would explain a lot! ;-)

Josh Pollard was asked "Why don't you pick up the stones you have reburied and restore Avebury?"
He replied "What period? The Mesolithic? Get rid of all the stones and plant trees everywhere?" :)
Avebury is a dynamic landscape and will always continue to change.
