public transport

why dont people stop complaining about where they can park their fuel guzzling, war causing cars and get the bus to magalithic sites of interest. Me and my girlfriend have seen many major sites in Britain on the buses. leave your motor, get off at the nearest bus stop and walk the rest of the way. Clava Cairns are less than 2 miles from the culloden bus stop. nice walk too (and you can avoid the battle field). buses from bath to devises and from devises to avebury are frequent. you can get a bus from Bristol to stanton drew that stops right in the village for £2 return. Glastonbury is easy to get to by bus, we got all the way from glastonbury to avebury on a £5 explorer. some of us might be too famous to get the bus however. The sense of pilgrimage is preserved a bit better, as is the environment.
