I just hit me today what a brilliant name for a band this is.
Ignore who they actually are and what their music is like, just imagine they'd never existed (oh, sweet heaven), and that you'd come up with this as a band name.
Better still, imagine Atomic Kitten doing a cover of Atomic Punk.

Heard two things on the radio - around the time that One True Voice announced their name - which expressed the same opinion. Both cited the Pistols as an example of a terrible name. Which I thought was strange.

Merrick, they were called Automatic Kitten to begin with. I heard this on a radio show.

I was really hoping they'd be some Shampoo style moody git punk-princess band. Reality.... nuff said.
At least All Saints had one good song. Ah well, such is pop, I remember the days when, etc...

Sex Pistols is a superb name, and it goes so well with the band and music.
Do I sense a 'worst names irrespective of the music' thread coming on?
