Nonetheless Cope clearly admired Dinger's work and contributed to the Radio 4 obituary.

Also, it's worth bearing in mind that those bootleg CDs and t-shirts came about largely as a result of Dinger's continual refusal to accept any of the licensing deals he was offered - any of which could have lead to legal re-issues coming out much sooner.
