Kingdom Of Rust - Doves
I liked the first two Doves albums a lot at the time, but hearing this later one now, it...well, it just sounds a little too earnest for its own good. Or maybe it's me!

Flashback – Fujiya & Myagi
New LP from the excellent Brighton combo. Good stuff as alway.

The Now Now – Gorillaz
Hugely enjoyable!

Never Mind The Bollocks – Sex Pistols
I just had a massive sudden urge to dig out my old vinyl copy of this. And enjoyed it no end. It's easy to take your favourite records for granted and not even play them too much. Obviously you hear Pistols tracks in isolation, but this was the first time I had played it in its entirity in some time – and every track is a killer! Mustn't leave that long again!

S/T – Alan Vega
Oh man, this is so good. Half of it is prime rockabilly influenced stuff, the remainder slower and doomier. This is Elvis if he had been born, not in Tupelo, but in David Lynch's imagination.

Also...
Ribbons – Bibio

Born To Boogie – Marc Bolan & T.Rex

The Original Sound Of Sheffield '83/'87 – Cabaret Voltaire

Monster Movie – Can

Chris (French version) – Christine & the Queens

Kingdom Of Rust – Doves

A Mojo Anthology – King Crimson

Dreads Enter The Gates With Praise – Bunny Lee

The Very Best Of... - Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes

Without You I'm Nothing - Placebo

The Corner Of Miles & Gil - Shack

La Folie – The Stranglers

Ecopiesis 12” - Umwelt

Pursuit Of Momentary Happiness – Yak
