Youtubing The Cure's 30th anniversary Disintegration plus gig at Sydney opera house. Can't wait to see coverage of this year's Glastonbury. One of those bands where the B-sides are pretty much as compulsive as their singles and album tracks. Hadn't heard the Disintegration era b-sides and demos from the band's first set.
Been venturing into Michael Chapman's back catalogue a bit more. Navigation from 95 seems to be worth a listen. Couple late 70's albums that didn't really do it for me like And then there were three (live album) and Deal gone down.
The Membranes - Dark Matter/Dark Energy
Melanie De Biasio - Blackened Cities
Megafaun - Heretofore
Meg Baird & Mary Lattimore - Ghost Forests. Didn't mind this and so want to hear some worthy ML material after enjoying her live.
Ravel - Daphnis et Chloe (Berlin Philharmonic, Pierre Boulez)
Anais Mitchell - Hadestown. Listened to this several times. Near perfect in places
