The T-Rex Exhumed! Open-Coffin Tour 2009!!! Sorry, that was a bit, er, distasteful. Good lord, I hope it's not old Dave donning the hair and makeup and jumpsuit and doing a Spiders from Mars reunion thing. Please no, Lord.

Doesn't matter as a)no one cares (on a mainstream level) b) they weren't prepunk and c)Cope and Macca will never speak let alone play together again.

I went to see April Wine, back in 81, at the assembly rooms in Derby, only because Diamond Head were the support! They came on and were stunning! I did'nt hang around for April Wine, as the job had already been done.

Please no, Lord. Thankfully, I think that's pretty unlikely. However many questionable records Bowie's made - especiallly in the mid-to-late 80s - he's never been one for flagrant nostalgia.

necropolist wrote: hmmm, we're the Crucial Three pre-punk, technically? Did they even techinically exist? I thought Julian wrote in "Head On" that it was more of a conceptual joke than a real band (althopugh Cope and McCulloch obviously did play together in A Shallow Madness for a breif period).

I saw them on a childrens 'Royal variety club' day out to Sheldon Cinema 1972 where we all boo'd to the national anthem. My vote would be a correct outing for an original King Crimson, or better still the proper Mahavishnu Orchestra.

Well, I'm hoping it's more Genesis than The Faces, although I like the latter too. But can Peter Gabriel still shimmy into this little number?!... http://mitkadem.homestead.com/files/genesis_petergabriel_foxtrot_paris_januar1973.jpg
