One of 'em (Andy Scott I think) is already doing it, I believe. I think you're right that there's another one (Steve Priest?) but I'm not sure if he's in it.
I reckon it's gotta be the Faces (coz it's supposed to be happening) or Genesis.

:^) I think they're still bloody good most nights.
I once saw them very lacklustre in 2003 (lotsa Purple fans were underwhelmed by that tour). And Ian Gillan's voice was a bit unreliable for a few years, but seems to have got better.
I think if you like 'em (I do!) & have realistic expecatations (ie that it's not 1971-2) they're great. Never gonna be like in the 70s, but they do it for me!

I saw em at Knebworth '85 and they stank
Mind you, the whole day was a fucking miserable disaster, from the weather to the bands. Think I only enjoyed Blackfoot, Scorps and a bit of UFO

I'd love to see Slade with Noddy Holder (that's the singer, not NOTD's significant other BTW). Saw them at Donnington aeons ago and they rocked like titans!

If it's second only to Zep, I'd have plumped for the Tatler/Harris/Kimberley/Scott line-up of Diamond Head.
If ATP are stuck for bands to do Don't Look Back, them doing The White Album would be a surefire winner, I reckon.
