Massive! A copy would be appreciated. In return, information on particular places in France and Iberia where I have travelled will be provided.
I knew of the Russian dolmens but that figure of 3000+ is amazing! Away from the Atlantic you can also plan holidays to the following exotic places:
stone circles in Poland, Basque country and Japan.
standing stones in Morocco, odd-looking dolmens in Tunisia and weird pre-Pharaonic alignments and cosmic groupings in Egypt; also stuff in Palestine, perhaps already erased by indiscriminate bombing
megaliths still being built in Madagascar
stones in India.
but what's most important, the rich ancient culture in the States with barrows, stones and petroglyphs being bulldozed and destroyed as we speak by a 'culture' who think it is cooler to cross the ocean in order to see stonehenge than to protect their own ancient wealth or, what's even worse, ignore it completely in a gluttonous ignoramus feast.
When will we see that wisdom is within ourselves?
