That whole area looks full of hidden secrets....the recreation pic on my site was done mainly with "PhotoBrush" from Mediachance who do some great software for photography(some free!)

Your right, I was looking at the garden of the manor house today, there are some interesting bumps and lumps in the landscape there!
The stones in the river near the bridge are also worth another a look.
I have been building a 3D model of the landscape with Vista-pro and 3DSMax but it is slow going as I keep findng more to add!
oh for a Silicon graphix machine to render it up! ;0)

Sounds a pretty ambitious project....especially when you keep discovering new things! I'd like to attempt a recreation of the buried stones that have been found in the henge if I could find details of their locations. I've written to the NT but they don't respond....any ideas on where to get that info? Re. Silbaby....how high is it ?

I've been waiting for Mike Papworth to publish his report but there is still no sign of it.
A copy of the geaphiz was handed around an AARHG meeting but plebs like us don't get a peek.

Guess we're too impatient....I remember it took forever before any info re. the enclosures became available to the more lowly!

Its annoying that TV crews are allowed to see it but residents aren't!
When we have a meet up on Dec11th I'll see if we can get accurate measurements of Silbaby.
