My 'Back To Mine'/'Burn It' type compilation would be;
1. Velvet Underground - 'What Goes On' (from 'Live 1969')
2. Mekons - 'Where Were You'
3. Swell Maps - 'Dresden Style'
4. Noah House of Dread - 'Only Selassie I'
5. ??? - 'Jah Rasta Man' (taped from John Peel, late 70s; never found out who recorded it!)
6. Television - 'Marquee Moon'
7. Lou Reed - 'Street Hassle'
8. Avenue - 'Don't Fail' (greatest 'unrecorded band ever!)
9. The Only Ones - 'Another Girl, Another Planet' (beautiful, soaring, uplifting... desolate)
10. ??? - 'Extra-Ordinary Dub' (can't remember who the artists are on this... the vinyl is in the loft!... but it's brilliant. Played it down the phone three times to a friend when I first bought it, many moons ago!)
I hope the stranger would be able to see why these particular tracks had been chosen for them to have a listen to...
