If i get time I'll post my list later, but I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to read these little snapshots of everyone's musical life every week. I find it quite inspiring, and a great source of ideas for what to listen to. Don't ever stop peoples!

Snap! Probably still my favourite of his, consistently excellent songs.

These are both getting endless plays at Tempest Towers - great looking albums too.

You've got the posh splatter version ;-) us northern folk have to make do with the plain blue and green. joking aside both of these are outstanding, the 2 Space Spectrum LPs make Drone Records label of the year so far

Did you get the other Stereocilia LP, Hive Mind edges it but only just

Tangerine Dream - Zeit

my favourite LP changes with the wind but I'd say that Zeit has remained my 2nd favourite for longer than I'd care to admit, a wonderful and ageless LP

This was the first time I've ever heard it, bought it for myself as a birthday present in Cardiff HMV, was mainly amazed to find it in an actual shop to buy. Really like it on first play. This version has a 1972 live recording as second disc, which is also pretty epic.

Last week I started by ploughing my way through all of Spirogyra on a long hike in the mountains.
Popol Vuh, the mid seventies albums, driving around town for work stuff.
Big Star, to show my son some good song writing on the school run.
Can Saw Delight to inspire his drumming.
The Trip compilation by Saint Etienne as a soundtrack to driving my daughter and friends to an athletics meet for a few hours on the SoCal freeways yesterday.

By the end of the week I am indeed “the unpaid Uber driver”.

A few artists from M-Z that I forget but the ones I remember are:

Nadine Shah - Holiday Destination. Solid album throughout if you liked the singles

Nicholas Britell - Moonlight S/T. Very strong soundtrack with lots of lovely subtle stuff reminiscent of Thomas Newman

Oiseaux Tempete - Al - 'An! One of the better albums from 2017; kinda exotic world music psych.

Voice of the Seven Thunders - Miss Peapods 2010

Tiny Vipers - End of the Road 2009

Telegram - Mono 2016

* Oh yeah, and Vibravoid - Exeter Phoenix 2013

Yes, just got The Road to The Unconscious Past the other day, hasn't really had time to sink in yet. Not sure about the Space Spectrum ones - I've only got the second, and I haven't really got into it, must give it another go.

I really like the Space Spectrum LPs, it's pretty obvious where they're coming from but there's a deftness and lightness of touch that is often missing from some of the newer pysch bands
