Nad Sylvan - Courting The Widow
Any good? I've been tempted by this since the Steve Hackett gig.
The last track is absolutely stunning and I think worth it for that 7 minutes alone. The rest is pretty good too apart from the 22 minute epic which doesn't quite hang together.
I absolutely love his voice (to me he is like a Prog Don Henley) and when me and Mooncat saw him at the Albert Hall he was clearly glad just to be there at all. Real kid in a sweet shop stuff. Was really endearing. For him to have waited until 53/54 to have a career breakthrough makes for a lovely story. The Unifaun record is pretty good too if you have not heard that one.
