Yeah, I felt the same, decidedly meh! about em'. Until, that is, I saw em' support Circle last year. Was pleasantly blown away by them live. Had a deffo Fu Manchu heaviness to their guitar riffage that floated my boat massively.

There's a great single club series of split 7"s on Jason Stoll's Label 'God Unknown Records'. The Hey Collosus/ White Manna 7" is a blast, as are they all!

Yes there is a wonderful heaviness to their guitar riffage - but subtler moments and sounds as well. All blends perfectly on these short 'songs' - something I just didn't get on other records.

I got the God Unknown download collection a couple of weeks ago but haven't had time to listen yet. Look forward to it.
