Aye, the thing with Chet Atkins is that, while he was an insanely good guitarist ... he could also be very commercial. The more traditional, old school stuff is wonderful ... the countrypolitan-style covers of well known popular tunes of the day ... well it's a bit like if there was a series of albums where "The Shadows Salute The Music Of ..."
