Any chance Cally is involved in the production of these two? That would likely ensure a sympathetic / unbrickwalled remastering job. He went to great lengths to make sure the Nick & Molly Drake CD's were done properly. Think I bought the Molly Drake CD directly from him IIRC, before it was picked up by another label. That was beautully packaged too ; CD's don't have to be ugly!

Looking at the track listing order for CD 2 I presume it's the version from the Greatness and Perfection 12" single.

there have been plenty of nicely packaged cope releases (the late 90's to early 00's in particular) I mean every thing from interpreter to love peace fuck to citizen cain LAMF etc...all had really nice packaging

Agreed. The old major label deluxe editions were usually nice too, till they stopped using the clear plastic slipcases and started wrapping white masking tape around them to cut costs. Very luxurious! 'Cos we're worth it!

Thanks for the info -- guess I need to hold onto my Japanese cd then for that one. (Also it's nice to have the lyrics in Japanese!)

Pre-order price on these two sets has just decreased from £14.73 to £8.99.
