Another Live Album From... - The Damned
The ironically titled Another Live Album From The Damned is not just another live album as far as I'm concerned, because it was recorded at Manchester Academy in 2010 and I was there. As much as I enjoyed it, it wasn’t the greatest Damned gig I've ever seen - the Capt was quiet by his standards and there were a few lulls - but all the same it’s great to have a very decent recording of a gig I was at!

Sun-Lingual Tablet - The Fall
A mixed bag on early listens but it has its moments.

Greatest Hits – Manfred Mann
I will always have a soft spot for Manfred Mann - along with The Beatles and The Move they really rocked my world when I was a little lad. Pretty Flamingo and Semi-Detached Suburban Mr James really did it for me this week.

Play – Moby
OK, it was played to death everywhere you went back in the late 90’s, but I think it’s a cracking album. I've got Greatest Hits LP’s with less hits on them than this!

Whip It On - The Raveonettes
The opening track, Attack Of The Ghost Riders, is such a killer. Some nice discordant bits here and there are the icing on the cake.

Also...
Spotlight Kid - Captain Beefheart
To Where The Wild Things Are - Death & Vanilla
III – Follakzoid
Waiting For A Sign – Githead
Commune - Goat
The Very Best Of - KC & The Sunshine Band
The Very Best Of - The Mamas & Papas
Always Now - Section 25
S/T – Nancy Sinatra
The Slider – T.Rex
No Pier Pressure - Brian Wilson
