I hope you've seen the announcement about their set starting at 8.30 which has gone around on Facebook. They need an early start to fit in a 2 1/2hr set.

Jesus, SWANS were seriously good at The Roundhouse. Would you agree Kosmischeboy? I didn't think they could create such volume there having seen bands at The Roundhouse before, but they did. A superb performance. "Hypnotic" as a cool chica I spoke to at an obvious ear interval on the smoking terrace. You kinda need a 10 minute break during two and a half hours of constant aural and visual bewilderment at the front left side (looking) in the loudest part of the venue. What a great crowd too.

Ears still ringing!

I was going to Bristol...but got on the guest list for the Roundhouse. Simply awesome - was Frankie M really 45 mins long? Definite Doors lyrics in I Forget, a bit like Garbageman in She Loves Us. Very Neu! on a few tracks and managed to get right down the front. Loved staring upwards and outwards. Like Sleater Kinney in Manchester, as great as it gets....
