Rhythm & Stealth - Leftfield
Thumping!

Music – Madonna
Decent pop LP. I love the title track.

Sheet Music – 10cc
I dug this out after hearing the interview with Graham Gouldman on the radio the other night, talking about how he is touring this LP. 10cc are one old band I would love to see get back together but it’s not going to happen from what he said. It’s such a shame that he and Eric Stewart, the two who continued with the 10cc name after Godley/Creme had left, no longer speak. Gouldman still sounds upset that the four of them didn’t continue longer as he clearly feels they had a lot more to offer.

Greatest Hits – T.Rex
Tanx – T.Rex
Zinc Alloy – Marc Bolan & T.Rex
I really enjoyed some of the less obvious numbers on Greatest Hits this week – The Groover (what an intro!), the much-maligned Light Of Love (say what you want, it’s got a great beat!) but the one I enjoyed most this week was the latter-day Ty Rex 45, King Of The Rumbling Spires. Tanx and Zinc Alloy are the 2014 re-issues. Tanx in particular sounds ace.
