Cheers for all that. I'll digest at my peril! Actually SNUB TV was quite amazing at the time. FSD was brilliant for live bands from Scotland and I went to quite a few of the recordings. Even The Tube was unmissable, Rock Goes To College, OGWT etc. Music on TV is so bad these days means I get a bit nostalgiac and a wee bit angry. BBC did a Mogwai thing a few months ago which was ok, but not quite enough. My brother was in charge of the filming, so kudos to him for trying. It rolls.
There was a time when music on TV was just fantastic. Not now. All we have is Jools Holland and complete crap on other TV channels. Jools has done a good job in the past, but not now, as nobody really supports his taste. I suppose he's getting a bit older. 6 music is going strong still though. There is still hope!
The man from Mogwai even sings on these ones! Really nice.
