Ah yes, great stuff! Always loved their approach to drumming.

That's some gig experience alright ... glad you survived to tell the tale!

At the Derby Wherehouse back in 1993 I saw BMX Bandits supported by 18 Wheeler and unannounced first-on (in front of about ten of us with the house lights still up) ... Oasis ... who were awful and obviously about to be huge.

I had a, what turned out to be entirely imaginary, job as a music journalist for a few months during that year and had gotten in free and was taken backstage by 18 Wheeler folk to have a chat with Duglas. It was the first and only time I ever got self-conscious meeting someone 'famous'. I still have the whole embarrassing interview on tape somewhere along with most/all? of the gig and a photo my mate took.
