Hadn't realised there was a movie about Roland S Howard and his little entourage. Soon as I found out was chuffed as mustard that lovefilm/amazon prime had it for rental, saw it twice back to back, then quickly bought it. Even the extras are better than most Rock Biogs main draw.
Inciteful document of a gifted guitarist and all round RocknRoll Gent (in the sense that to me, people like Daniel Ash and John McGeoch are the guitar gods to aspire too....the less is more school of rawk). Wonderfuly honest and open movie, with some beautiful insights into the fella by the peeps who were actually there and involved. Hell even old Cavey is on good form.
Sounded a truley sweet guy. Hell, I was blubbing like a baby by the end. Sadly missed. R.I.P Rolly.
