I love that collection. The backing vocals and strings on the early 70s tunes sound like they would have been a big influence on Tim Buckley's "Greetings From LA". "Drowning On Dry Land" in particular has that feel. I love it when the keyboard player misses a change coming into the middle 8 and they carry on anyway. Don't know if they were tight for studio time or if it was a case of living with a mistake for the right vibe.
