Unfortunately my reggae/dub collection accounts for about 0.5% of the music collection here but having a quick look in the relevant section of the archives I would recommend:
2 heavyweight - blood and fire sampler
king tubby meets rockers uptown
History of trojan records 1972-1995.
Yellowman meets purpleman.
Steel Pulse - handsworth revolution.
Mark Stewart & Maffia - 'learning to cope with cowardice' and the more distorted 'As the Veneer of Democracy...' - both very relevant pieces of music to today.
Material/Sly Dunbar remixes of Shabba Ranks's Reality.
Quite like a bit of Gregory Isaacs for romantic moods too.
Always enjoyed Eek a Mouse records when Peel used to play them , Can anyone recommend a good CD of his?
