Hail
Ghost - Opus Eponymous. Love this so much. Brings me deeply evil joy!
Spectrum Road - ST
Evile - Five Serpents Teeth. Top notch modern Brit Thrash. From the initial Metallica Worship of their early stuff they've found their own voice. Didn't actually come with 5 serpents teeth though, which was disappointing.
Graveyard - Lights Out. Loving homage to the 70's longhairs with incredibly detailed sound.
High on Fire - The Art of Self Defence.
Earthling Society - Stations of The Ghost / Albion
KISS - Monster. Slobber!
Medieavel Baebes - Worldes Blysse / Mirabillis. Double helping from the sumptious high-priestesses of ethereal wispiness.
Band of Skulls - Sweet Sour. This is great. I really liked the first album though it might be argued there was a slight tinge of 'indie-kids playing rock band' to it; the slightly ironic name etc. However, this is a big step up to the real deal, with better songs, dynamics and powerful performances. Top!
Iron Monkey - Our Problem - Very Angry Music!
Sylver Tongue - Something Big EP. Charlotte "Ash/Bat For Lashes" Hattherley's new project and very nice it is too. Fave track; the Danielle Dax meets Robyn clatter of "Creatures".
