I have to say I'm a bit narked with PiL - having been quick off the mark and copped myself two tickets to their gig at the relatively small Concorde 2 Brighton gig for Aug 16 which sold out in 24 hours, I see they've announced a second night on Aug 15 (ie the night before the originally announced gig) - somehow this makes the whole thing less exciting for me - not sure why, probably some supressed and misguided form of elitism on my part. I hope Wobble and Levene tour the UK - I'd far sooner see them than PiL

Well I'm glad they announced a second date as it meant I could get a ticket! I'm sure that show will sell out fast too. I seem to remember some glowing reports of their 2009/10 shows on here, after initial cynicism, so I'm hoping for good things.

Keith's a good friend of mine, he spends a fair bit of time down here in sunny Newport. Both him and Wobs are really excited about doing them actually, when I know the tour dates I'll post them up here, all I know so far is there's a festival down Swansea way and a show in Manchester, but it's all got to be confirmed yet. Levene and Wobble's EP's good if you've not heard it.

Quite liked the ep but thought Ying and Yang a bit - er - childish. I am a massive fan of both, however, and hope they do some more stuff together. I like the album with Julie Campbell v much. It's a great shame Keith Levene hasn't had the career he should have had and I hope he's able to fulfill his early promise at this stage of his life. Wobble's done v well although I think he's a bit too prolific at times and might want to spend a bit more time on quality control. I see they are playing a festival in Yorkshire in June - but the other acts aren't enough to entice me. Look forward to hearing any future news on them from you CS

The new single isn't much good. But 'they've' (he's) done little worth listening to since 1986 for my ears.

Go and see them live though, it's a fine, fine show. I've seen them twice since their reformation and yea, good.

He did an album back in about 2004, I think, it's on iTunes. He's really got back into his playing now, and he's bloody good too! I'll keep everyone posted about dates with him and wobs. Hopefully get to meet him one day soon too, so I can get him to nag Keith about tour dates.

The thing with the ep and the swearing, Keith actually talks like that! Honest! ;0)

Yeah PIL live are incredible. I was reluctant to go and see an overweight burnt out punk rocker going through the motions but they were outstanding. One of the most memorable concerts I've been to.

Doesn't really matter who is singing or playing bass. Bruce Smith and Lu Edmonds are worth the price of admission on their own. Musically that combo appeals to me more than Wobble and Levene even if the later did roadie for Yes!

Tickets for Wolverhampton went on sale half hour ago. It'll sell out pretty quick, it's only a small venue.
