Thurston Moore - Demolished Thoughts. Only one listen so far but very nice. Mellow acoustic guitars, cello, summer sounds.

Snorkel - Stop Machine. Not quite as immediate as Glass Darkly which had a Can/This Heat vibe. This is a bit more dancey and ...er squelchy. Think I'll grow to like it though.

Miles Davis - Complete On the Corner Box Set - Genius. Difficult to understand why this was so vilified at the time.

Boris - Attention Please & Heavy Rocks (2011). Two new releases of which Attention Please is massively better. First track almost disco and overall really enjoying it. Heavy Rocks will not contravene trades description although seems a bit painting by numbers.

Morton Feldman - Last Composition - Piano. Violin, Viola, Cello. Sublime as ever.

The Tambouras of Prandit Pan Nath - La Monte Young & Marian Zazeela

10cc - How Dare You. Hearing 'Don't Hang Up' on radio caused me to dust this one off.

Zappa - Make a Jazz Noise Here. Love the version of Black Napkins on this.

Gastr Del Sol - Camoufleur.

Keiji Haino and Loren Mazzacane Connors - Vol2

Iggy Pop - New Values

Dinosaur Jr -Ear Bleeding Country. Reminded me of my other fave DJnr song Take a Run at The Sun.

Cowboys International - s/t Anyone remember this lot. Still sounds very good. Keith Levene pops up.

Some good radio this week: Roedelius Late Junction session; Jazz on 3 from NY Vision Festival. Powerful set from Pulverised Sound. Oren Ambarachi - all 10 mins very good but not the 30 min improv set it was trailed as.

Have a great listening week Headsters.

Edit: for sp mistakes that i never see when not wearing glasses.
