I would agree Shiny Beast is one of his most underrated -- I think it's a really unique album in his discog. The most successful combination of "pop music" with his weird muse (unlike those 1974 albums which are too pop and not enough weird muse.)

And "Doc" is also a unique classic, not like any of his other records. His "new wave" album I guess.

Tartit - Abacabok
Hot Chip - One Life Stand
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - The Doldrums
A Place to Bury Strangers - Exploding Head
The Fugs - The Fugs' Second Album
Van Morrison - It's Too Late to Stop Now
Chrome - Alien Soundtracks
Joe Meek & the Blue Men - I Hear a New World
Joe Meek - Works in Progress (Not sure why this was released except for voyeuristic reasons. Veers dangerously close to Wild Man Fischer territory at times. Some works definitely need completion before they assume any form whatseoever.)
Stereolab - Transient Random Noise Bursts With Announcements
R. Stevie Moore - Hobbies Galore!
David Stoughton - Transformer
