I loved it. Somehow, Bob can do these things. As well as being a bona fide musical genius, he's just so damn cool in a mad uncle kind of way. He's the undisputed leader of the gang that includes Keith Richards and Tom Waits.

Hmmm - with the exceptions of "Oh Mercy" and "time Out of Mind" I haven't particularly liked what I've heard from the late 70s onwards - but his" "Theme Time Hour" radio show was pretty good. He also deserves kudos for inviting the David Baker-era Mercury Rev to support him on tour, even if they did get bottled off every night!
