I used to keep an old Music for Pleasure album that belonged to my parents by Lee Hazlewood hidden away at the back of my collection, together with a reunion album he did with Nancy Sinatra. Quite proud of them both now.
I bought 'Swinging Safari' by Bert Kaumfert for 50p in a charity shop, mainly because of its really tacky cover. I loved it the minute I played it, much to friends' horror. Later found out that my parents had this too!
The other album I used to hide away was 'Rock 'n' Roll with the Modern Lovers'. Some mega tunes on that, but Jonathan also chose to do 'The Wheels on the Bus'. Now, you wouldn't want that nestling next to your copy of 'Fulham Fallout' would you?
