I'm confident enough to say that you'll really be into LRR and TS too!

Thanks, I'll have to try to get hold of those. I put Hypnotic Underworld on last night after reading this, thanks for reminding me how much I like it!

I've got their most recent LP (I think), In Stormy Nights. It isn't up to the standard of Hypnotic Underworld, but it's still pretty good. More noisy and aggressive than its predecessor.

Moon Cat wrote: Asteroid - S/T. Fab stoner doom mongery with Heepular organ grinding in parts. Good stuff Yuss! Moon Cat wrote: The Witch & The Robot - On Safari. Inneresting contemporary psyche folk with suprisingly rocky bits. Bits of Comus, Circulus, even Cope in the mix. I like! Can't thank you enough for this tip - chuffin' great stuff!

Been listening to Soulsavers - broken a lot which is a really great record. Been listening to it so much that i have had to put it away because it is becoming too familiar. Mark Lanegan can do little wrong for me Elsewhere Roxy Music - For your pleasure and Stranded Run DMC - Raising hell Roni size and reprazent - New Forms Mount Eerie - Winds Poem Easy star all stars Dub side of the moon Every one a winner

Some of the spoken word stuff is really Cope like isn't it?

Yeah def, I was struck by how close to Cope some of it is too, but equally I totally get your Comus and Circulus comparison. I thought it was a damn fine listen and pretty refreshing to find an album that good that's snuck under my radar. Reckon it's gonna reward alot more repeat plays when my proper CD gets here. They're playing oop your way (I think) next friday: "09/10/2009 20:00 at AKOUSTIK ANARKHY VS ATIC: THE WITCH AND THE ROBOT, MECHANICAL OWL, AIM (DJ SET) - The Deaf Institute, Deaf Institute, Manchester, Northwest M1 7HE Cost: £5" (http://www.myspace.com/thewitchandtherobot)

Fitter Stoke wrote: Loop 'Fade Out' - sounding great in its recent expanded remaster, this is repetition turned into an art form. Love it; 2 '90 dvds appeared on dime earlier this week, which flustered me since my main computer is down. a friend came around last night, took a look at it but couldn't fix it. did manage to revive my laptop which i thought long dead. subsequently i have 1 d/lded but not disced and am waiting on the other. Town & Country club and Bonn Festival of the Independents to be more precise. Stevo NP Aswad compi from pirate bay
