It's heavy in places, but not in a Black Sabbath kind of heavy, if you get my drift.
A little Proggy, lots of Hammond, with good soulful singing, and great playing.

I like it alot

Yeah, i have seen it at record fairs, going for £400-£500 before now!

My cd copy is on Sunrise Records, and came out in 2007.

Fantastic sleeve too!

Norman Haines was on the 'Record Collectors' BBC Radio Shropshire a few years ago, and they played something like the overture to the LP - He rabbitted on about how EMI Harvest who were supposed to release the LP, but they decided no because there was no guitar on the LP. It died when Parlophone (or is it Columbia) released it. With that fantastic cover and probably no marketing no wonder it died. I'm sure it has a guitar on the opening track. He lives in Minworth nr sutton coldfield, but sadly plays no gigs.

Kiss - The Elder (on repeat. alot)
Small Faces - Ultimate Collection
Kasabian - New one (meh)
Andy Votel & Dom Thomas - Anagram Jam
Scandinavian Friends - Tribute to Roky Erickson
13th Floor Elevators - Sign of the 3 Eyed Men (mmmm....)
Circulus - Thought Becomes Reality (also mmmm....)
Vampires of Dartmoor - Dracula's Music Cabinet
Science Fiction Dance Party - Dance with Action
Vain - No Respect (guilty pleasure... shh)
VA - Where the Pyramid Meets The Eye (Tribute to Roky & 13FE)
Jah Wobble - Chinese Dub
VA - Stadium Drum and Bass

The embarassing fact is that I've not had complete quality time with the Elevators boxset yet because I'm finding it really hard to stop listening to Kiss' The Elder. Sad but true.

Hi Deepi.

Yeah, it came out on Parlophone, and there is Quite a bit of nifty Guitar work on the album, courtesy of a chap named Neil Clarke.

Pity Norman does'nt play anymore, as i'm sure there would be much interest.

One of my favourite album sleeve's of all time!
