Sabres of Paradise - Haunted Dancehall Yummy dub stuff. Aphex Twin - Analogue Bubblebath Wish I knew what was going on inside Dicky James' head. Or maybe not. Iggy Pop - The Idiot Zeppelin - II, & Physical Graffiti "The Rover" still makes me wish I'd learned to play guitar. Epic and sleazy at the same time. Kraftwerk - Virto Ex Machina (Live in Tokyo, 81) The Move - Best of The Kinks - Best of Books: "All Souls" by Michael Patrick MacDonald. Irish-American family of nine being brought up by their single mom, in the slums of Boston, in the 60's and 70's. "Faithfull" by Marianne Faithfull. Wow, what a life. "Bowie in Berlin" by Thomas Jerome Seabrook. (Strangely close to Thomas Jerome Newton, the protagonist's name in The Man Who Fell to Earth) This gleans info from other sources which I've already read, (Strange Fascination, & Tony Visconti's autobio) but this deals mainly with the Berlin years. For those of us obsessed with the Thin White Duke. Tis all for me on this overcast Sunday. x
