Over the years I've got fed up with trying to get that message across & I'm not sure I've ever said it so well!
I don't have any problem with people not liking Rush or Peart (or Kiss!) but I like 'em to not like 'em for the right reasons! ;^)
Incidentally, I'm no big Kiss fan, but as far as them not being 'unsung' is concerned, since when were Black Sabbath (for example) unsung? My memory might be fading what with me being prehistoric & everything, but I don't remember many people complaining when Julian made Sabbath AOTM.
As for all the other arguments on the merits (or not) of Kiss, I'll not give any opinion, coz personally I don't see music as good or bad, only as music I like & music I don't like, and I'd never dream of telling anyone what they should like or dislike.
But I've said that before too.... Lol!

Just been listening to krossword (been away a few days and missed this thread) and i have to agree. I can't believe how bad it sounds! Did they really mean to sound like this! Ah well, different strokes and all that. Lets just say it is not for me.
