Have a goodn! Just sorted tickets to see Hawkwind next May (!) at the Buxton Opera House (!!) and my mate is taking his Mrs and his rock loving kids with him (!!!). As well as being the first time I've seen Hawkwind in ages, I've never been to a gig with kids in tow before. We're all on the front row apparently so it should be a hoot. And the nice little old ladies in the Opera House bar should get something of a nice surprise when loads of stoned Hawk fans appear!

Kikuri (Merzbow & Keiji Haino) saw them in Newcastle , was outstanding, Haino is only about 4ft high but he looked amazing, finished with a drum solo, support was from the A Band who were pretty astounding and a local band who featured amember of Culver and the immense drummer from Mauzareen who were great other highlight was Spiritualized, absolutely stunning low point was Hanoi Rocks who were absolute garbage.

Tom Waits restored my faith in the live show as a medium. Every inch of it was perfection. A shivers-down-the-spine moment. Radiohead were extremely disappointing through no fault of their own. British Sea Power were uplifting & fun. The Cure were....sad.
