Hello and welcome to the end of civilization, Wankie. You tease.

Thankyou! It may well be the end of civilisation, but how very civilised of you.

Tease? I can only assume you are refering to my plea to give sexual pleasure to the long-dead king of Judea. If you find a way, let me know.

It could involve a packet of custard creams and a cricket bat!

But don't let anyone know I told you so!!

Oh no, custard creams, my weakness!

Custard creams? Yuk. Cricket bat? No thanks.

But custard creams and cricket bat working together in perfect harmony to sex-up the corpse of King Herod? Yes please!

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! King Herod's corpse tells me all I need to know!

We'll meet afterwards, shall we?

H2H folk will appreciate that I'm quite keen on Julian Cope and while I understand the grumbles of some of those who didn't go for the heavily guitar based work of the last few years, I always saw Julian Cope within it.
Fucking brilliant!

Indeed - I'm one of the grumblers, and I was soooo surprised. "These Things I Know" might even be the classiest thing he's ever written.

I think you meant to type "Dhimmi is Blue" there, Popel.

Lol!

They're both 2 of the top 3 songs on the album - so no need to argue about it!

But everyone knows 'I Can Remember this Life' is the classiest....

I hadn't played it for a week or so, so I did.

Solid.

PS Your verse may lie, if your chorus is pretty - marvellous.

Yeah, it's equally good, certainly - but at the point when I posted that I hadn't fully assimilated Disc 2 yet.

Mind you everyone's got different opinions - Squid's favourite is "Feed My Rock'N'Roll" which I consider to be the only clunker on the entire album, even after repeated listening.

So who else is going the the RFH?
