They Hailed from around Leigh on Sea/Southend on Sea. First and only eponymous LP 1965. I thinks they split a year or so later. They used to play in the Ship and the Smack in old Leigh.

As for sound, I really tried digging them, but struggle. Kind of skiffle gone mad really. Swannie whistle is prevalent, banjo and guitars. Someone must have an mp3 turntable somewhere, it really can't be that long before we hear the sound again!

As for a sons of lovelies, now there's an idea!!
