Where I live there aren't too many record shops I could rightly call a fave, though there are some good ones. However when it comes to buying cd's via the internet, which is how I buy most of my cd's, my favourite shop would have to be Record Heaven in Sweden. They have great service and specialise in 70's heavy rock, psych and prog. Prices are usually good, too, and Johnny who runs it is a nice guy.
After that Synphonic are one I use a bit less often, but as far as quality of service, friendliness and price they are just as good as Record Heaven.

There are a few around
here (Metro Detroit)
that are a bit cool ,
Stormy in Dearborn ,
Encore & Wazoo in
Ann Arbor and Car City
in St. Clair Shores.
