Your favourite record shop?

Is it mentioned in this site?

My favourite shop is Ultima Thule in Leicester - thanks to the Freeman brothers for the ultimate source for Krautrock. Also the Freemans "Crack in the Cosmic Egg" Krautrock encyclopedia is a work of genius.

Someone asks in the comments if Ultima Thule is still going - I can confirm that it is. Sadly, however, I no longer live in Leicester and don't get there as often as I would like.

The two Bills is pretty great. Though I think I normally centre on Anderton the non bearded one. Do tend to go through everything in both sets of racks cd wise.

Amazon marketplace online, also Doug Larson who's normally pretty reasonable & very fast.

Do blogspots count?

Couldn't see Beanos in Croydon there. Massive second hand record shop that was part of Croydon legend. Loved it but haven't been there for years. Anyone know if it's still there?

I can't remember the name of it, but there is a fantastic little shop in Tenby. I discovered 'Pama International' thanks to them and picked up a Bill Laswell remixes of Miles Davis beaut, too!

And there's a good one in Loughborough called Left Legged Pineapple, where I got that DJ Krush & Toshinori Kondo CD!! Which sounds very similar to the Miles Davis one, actually.

When I lived in London I could not find anywhere better than Plastic Passion on Blenheim Crescent - dunno if it's still there but it was cracking :-)

Jumbo Records, Leeds.

I can find something on every shelf that I bought from there- if I'm being all nerdy and alphabetical. Big shout out to Crash too.
