I know she's not regarded as a pariah by everyone on here. Catch here on Desert Island Discs Sunday 11:15am, Radio4. Repeated next Friday 9am. This is not available on Listen Again.

Well, I really can't criticise the woman that much as I've heard little of her...seriously though, I do listen to this show even if it's some anonymous mountain climber or amazing heart surgeon, so someone I've actually 'heard of'..yes, I will listen to this on too!

not approximately universe! real heads go for "yoko ono plastic one band" +"fly" ... i kid you not, there are huge tracts of those recs that sound like Can or PiL =- even john plays good gtr!

I agree "Why" is outstanding - but overall I prefer "AIU" - because it confounds most people's expectations of Ms Ono.

Nah, really. I agree. Love that album. I once played 'Why?' at a party and people thought I was joking. Until it carried on for the full 6 minute duration.
Oh, and she's a bloody brilliant, criminally underrated artist whose infuence is all over Britart and its ilk.
