And people who like the best music are not necessarily the nicest people either... Imagine someone spending his time listening to Neu, yet it doesn't make him a better person and acts like a reactionary prick to his friends... Whereas maybe alot of people who are big Coldplay or Geri fans could be really nice or whatever...

I hate that kind of crap! Although maybe I had been guity of it myself, as I gave up on Adam Ant when his album Strip was produced by big fat Phil Collins. "Great, expect more cack synths and big fat bass drums to make your ears burn. You were right, Adam Ant bites maan!"

I think Oasis were about the same as Coldplay really. A couple of pleasant singles but the rest pretty-much forgettable...

i got waisted wiv steve pastel and Dan from the TVPS once... in a kitchen at a party... in the 80's I lived in Glasgow then.........nice people. indie thing was a bit ott tho. Steve was a good looking lad and a natural star. (((Chuck)))

But your argument falls down when your speaking to the man who likes ELO. My love of music has nothing to do with whether music is popular or not.
