I remember us speaking to the geezer with wild hair from Dalek, who kept saying "yeah dude!" and also remember seeing a very foxy lady at the bar and asking Higashi from Acid Mothers what shampoo he uses....
It's all a strange blur......

Bought as a result of the soul thread here. Just as good as I remembered, with the opening track being particularly good.

BLACK BASQUE – Times A Factor
I’ve seen this Manchester band a couple of times this past month, and been very impressed both times. Repetitive, thrashy, shouty. Picked up their 7” single the other night. Doesn’t really capture them, but I like it.
THE KILLS – Love Is A Deserter
Not been a massive fan of these, but this a great single. A less poppy Raveonettes.
THE NIGHTINGALES – Devil in the Detail
Still the best single of the year for me.
SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES – Christine
Hadn’t heard this in a long time. Surprised how good it’s sounding.
